Highlight of our trip!

I cannot say enough good things about this tour. My family (4 kids ages 7-14) showed up on the dock for a day of fishing. "Skipper" greeted us warmly and told us his father would actually be joining us as well. His father then boarded the boat with 4 doughnuts and 4 Kit Kat bars (one for each child). He and his son were so incredibly nice and patient with my family. We headed out to the first fishing spot and literally within 30 seconds we were catching cod. Little did I know at the time, but we were about to catch around 400 cod in the next 3 hours. Yes, you read that right. We have never had so much fun! Our arms and backs were tired but we didn't care! They cleaned enough fish for us to enjoy dinner that night (they were DELICIOUS). Once we could fish no more, "Skipper" took us to an area to see puffins. We got some great pictures and were able to get very close. The captain actually owned a restaurant in town as well, so we ate there for lunch and it was VERY good (it's called "Skippers"). To summarize, if you are in the are, then I highly recommend this tour. Very nice people who can put you on the fish! It was definitely a highlight of our trip. It also ruined every future fishing trip with my family because my kids now think it's normal to catch 400 fish in 3 hours! :)

Lovely Family adventure

We booked in for an angling trip with our young kids and had the most beautiful time. After spending hours online throughout our travels in Iceland to find a fishing boat trip that would not include a big group where we wouldn't fit with the young kids Ocean Adventures delivered far more then we expected. Kids were greatly entertained and we caught a lot of cod and a huge halibut for my husband. We had the most amazing time out and would highly recommend the company.

Fantastic

What a great trip! Saw lots of puffins and sea birds with chicks, even got to see a sea eagle . Our trip was great as the smaller boat was able to go very close the cliffs . Please check out Ocean Adventures - don’t just go fir the bigger sea tours company in the harbour . Fab !

Puffins!

We booked a last minute boat ride with Captain Johannesson and it turned out wonderful. Hreidar was nice and knowledgeable. Great price and very private (9 people max, this trip was only 3).
